How Much Do You Value Experience?

When working with enterprise customers to implement a new piece of technology or service, IT consultants deal with many decision makers and stakeholders. And almost inevitably during this buying cycle, someone will question price. As sales professionals we’re taught that price objections can stem from our inability to properly explain the value the product brings. It’s worth asking, though, if we have done a good enough job selling ourselves.

In any line of work, experience matters.

You can’t put a price on experience, but it needs to be part of the conversation. Are you more comfortable seeing a doctor fresh out of med school, or a seasoned physician who’s seen their share of ailments? Do you prefer your mechanic to be 6 months into their career, or an experienced pro who’s rebuilt everything from dirt bikes to tractor trailers? All things being equal, experience can be a powerful deciding factor.

OneLink IT

In the same vein, why trust your business’ information, security and reputation to an inexperienced IT partner? OneLink IT was founded in 2016, but our team members boast more than 50 years of combined experience in technology and 30 years’ experience in financial services. We were founded on the idea that our clients need enterprise-class technology that delivers business-class results. We speak both SQL and P&L.

When considering your next IT project, make sure you consider the value of experience.
